First ever Post

Been working on something new this time. Something I had a glimpse of when I was in my second year of A-Level. A tool that would allow me to topically search for A-level past paper questions without even opening the past paper.

I know it’s not that much a big thing and there’s a website that already exists but they ask students for money to use their site which is fair for their existence on the web but not fair to ask for money from students. Maybe I am being biased as Nepalese students don’t have dollars or pound to pay for these sites. I mean I would honestly pay if I had that kind of money but I don’t and I can say most Nepalese students don’t either.

But what really made me want to work on the tool is the fact that the features that can really help students and the teachers are, in my opinion, very useful, cool, and interesting problems to work on. Statistical analysis for students to know their progress and what to focus on using the testing system and the ability to integrate multiple students performance data and let the teacher see how their students are doing in their classes and which topic they’re weak at. This will allow teachers to make a sound judgement about which topics to teach in their classroom and assess their students. This sounds very fun to me.

Although it sounds fun — to me. I can already see a lot of problems that I will have to work on before even getting a prototype ready for the students to use. Phew! Wish me luck.

I will be making a lot of updates on the work I will be doing over the course of these months or perhaps years. Will keep you all posted -- those who might read it.
